Bernice Donovan is organizing a charity poker event in Toronto to raise money for the Canadian Liver Foundation Saturday, May 8th at Keating Channel Pub & Grill. Last year my father was diagnosed with cirrhosis. It was a terrible shock. The Canadian Liver Foundation has been so helpful in providing information and support. Liver disease affects 1 in 10 Canadians.  Yet only a small percentage of the estimated 3 million people affected are diagnosed. Undetected and untreated liver disease can lead to cirrhosis, liver cancer, the need for a liver transplant and in some cases death. Proceeds from this poker tournament will fund important liver research and education programs to supporting the Foundation’s overall goal of reducing theincidence and impact of liver disease in Canada.

Muck Poker Wear at the 5th Annual Full Tilt Poker Miriam Foundation Montreal Open - March 13 - 16, 2010

Established in 1970, the Miriam Foundation supports rehabilitative, vocational and residential services and programs that foster increased socialization and community integration for children and adults living with intellectual disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorders. Every year in Montreal, they host Canada's largest televised charity poker tournament. This year, three players representing Muck Poker Wear will be playing in this event, all hoping to make it the final day on Tuesday.

Muck Poker Wear is donating 'Canadian Aces' T-shirts to the tournament that will be handed out to some of those who buy back in.
